Welcome to thy castle, the first on the Dusty Durango Path, which is one of four paths thee can take. By royal decree, thee have been given three days in which to enjoy 80 different castles prepared especially for thou enjoyment. Along the way, thee will find important clues; thee will want to inscribe on thee parchment each of the 20 clues scattered among the castles on the four paths. When thou carriage has taken thee along all four paths, and thee have gathered the 20 clues among the paths, thee must return to the Royal Blog Tour Home Castle. There thee will be asked to return the clues to the Royal Blog Tour High Queen. If thee return all the clues to the Queen correctly, thou name will be entered by the Castle Scribe. After the Royal Blog Tour has ended, the scribe will record thou name into a royal drawing for a Big Shot Die Cut Machine! Look carefully through each castle where thou coach arrives as the clues can be found only in certain castles. Once thee have traveled all the paths, bid thou coachman to return to the Royal Blog Home Castle. The Queen awaits thou answers there!
Welcome to the Dusty Durango Tour Path of the Royal Blog Tour.
Ye are currently at Castle Number 1.
Hello ladies and welcome to the "ROYAL BLOG TOUR"!! Oh the fun that awaits you. Imagine, being linked to 80 fabulous women and their wonderful blogs. You will not go away disappointed. Here are my shares for the tour, hope you enjoy. Come back later to find out if you won my blog candy and to get more inspiration for future projects!!
My cards are made using the "Simple Friendship" stamp set. I love, love, love this set. I have so many wonderful lady friends, I love to send cards and let them know I am thinking of them, etc. This is one of my "go to" stamp sets.
O.K. moving along, here is my first card. I used the luscious Rich Razzleberry paper, along with some Crushed Curry and Whisper White Card Stock. Added some crystal effects to my center flowers, those beautiful pearls from the pretties kit and some simple paper-piercing along the top. Simple, but to the point, don't you think?
Next, I used one of my favorite card stock colors, Orchid Opulence and paired it up with my favorite "standy by" color Old Olive, and again, Whisper White card stock. I also used some "Cottage Wall" Designer Series Paper, and the Rich Razzleberry stamp pad and cut out the gorgeous butterfly. For the small butterfly, I used our "new" punch. Makes a quick and easy butterfly when using Designer Series Paper!
I know, I know, "everyone" is making this fun and easy card. But since I had not, I decided to try it for this tour. This is such a fun card and simple to make. Are you noticing a theme here? "Simple"....:-) O.K. Just a few flowers cut from my big shot, stamped another few flowers on whisper white card stock, cut them out and popped them on top of my big shot flowers. Want more details? Well, I don't want to hold you up on this tour, so "details" on all my cards will be up the day after the tour is over.
Good grief, I almost forgot! Blog Candy!! Leave me a post with your name and contact information. The Blog Candy is for Non Demonstrators. My Random Selector will pick a name and It will be announced the day after the tour is over! What's the candy? It is the "Simply Sent Card Kit" called "No One Like You" valued at $42.95!!!
Hope you enjoy the rest of the tour! Take care and have a great time!!

Once this path hath reached its end, thy royal coach will travel back to the Royal Blog Tour - Home Castle where more paths await thee!
