I will be meeting with my Stamp Club this coming Saturday, and this is one of the cards we will be creating. We will be using the Penned & Painted stamp set, and the Iconic Occasions Hostess stamp Set (this has great sentiments in case you missed it).
I used Tempting Turquoise (sadly one very neglected color for me), Daffodil Delight, and Pear Pizzazz. I stamped the flower outline first, then stamped on some post-it-note paper, and cut out the flowers to mask the flowers before I added the leaves. So next I stamped the leaf outline first, and while the mask was still on I continued stamping the leaves with the Pear Pizzazz. First I stamped off, then the went full strength on the inside of the leaves. I removed the mask, then stamped the flower colors. Again, stamped off the first, then for the detailed inside the flower, I stamped at full strength.
For this card I used Pink Pirouette for the flower and Melon Mambo for the inside of one flower, then I used Daffodil Delight on the other. I used a 1-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of the Pop of Pink Designer series paper, and layered it on a card base of Thick Whisper White cardstock.
Same colors as the first one, only a bit more Daffodil Delight coloring than the Tempting Turquoise. I also used a piece of Morrocan Designer Series Paper here. Also, I almost forgot, I used the White Bakers Twine on this card, and for the pink card I used Linen Thread. That's about it.
I hope you have enjoyed your time with me and my share today. Hope you will come back to visit with me soon.
"Blessings, and until the next time, remember to hug the ones you love, "none of us are promised tomorrow!
